President
John B. Ford
John B. Ford (Ph.D., University of Georgia) is a Professor of Marketing and International Business at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. He first became an AMS member in 1987, and he has been a regular paper presenter, track chair, reviewer, session chair and discussant since joining the organization. He served as the Local Arrangements Chair for the 1998 Annual Conference in Norfolk, Virginia and Conference Program Co-Chair for the World Marketing Congress in Cardiff, Wales in 2001. He served for six years as the Editor of the AMS Quarterly newsletter. His research and teaching interests are focused on the effects of culture on global marketing strategy, nonprofit donor behavior and cross-cultural marketing research and methodology issues. His work has been published in such journals as Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Advertising, Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Business Research, Journal of International Marketing, Stanford Social Innovation Review, Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, Journal of Marketing Management (UK), Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management and Journal of World Business among many others.

Executive Vice President/Director
Harold W. Berkman
Harold W. Berkman retired from his position of Vice Dean and Professor of Management and Marketing at the University of Miami. He is the founder of the Academy of Marketing Science (AMS) as well as the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science. Since the inception of AMS he has served as executive vice president and director. Dr. Berkman has authored or co-authored 18 textbooks and numerous scholarly articles.

Greg Marshall
Greg W. Marshall (Ph.D., OklahomaStateUniversity; BSBA and MBA, University of Tulsa) is Professor of Marketing and Strategy in the Crummer Graduate School of Business at RollinsCollege, Winter Park, FL. Greg has served the Academy of Marketing Science in numerous ways over the years, including Vice President for Programs (presently), Secretary/Treasurer, co-chair of the 2006 AMS Conference, and chair of numerous tracks, special sessions, and competitive paper sessions. He received the AMS Outstanding Marketing Teachers’ Award in 2002 for his work in the MBA classroom. Greg is Editor of the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice and former editor of the Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management, which has a strategic partnership with AMS. In addition, he has served in various leadership roles for both the Society for Marketing Advances and the American Marketing Association Academic Division. Greg has published research papers in many top journals and he is co-author of the textbooks, Sales Force Management 8th ed. and Relationship Selling and Sales Management 1st ed. (McGraw-Hill/Irwin) and Marketing: Real People, Real Choices 4th ed. (Prentice Hall).

Barry J. Babin
Barry J. Babin is currently Max P. Watson, Jr. Professor of Marketing, and Chair of Marketing & Analysis at Louisiana Tech University. Barry's research, which focuses on the consumer and employee interface within the exchange environment, has appeared in The Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, The Journal of Marketing, The Journal of Retailing, The Journal of Consumer Research, and The Journal of Business Research. He is coauthor of several books including Multivariate Data Analysis and Exploring Marketing Research and Exploring Marketing Research. His consulting and teaching center around consumer research approaches, creativity and problem solving. He also is Marketing Editor of the Journal of Business Research. For his many contributions, he has been named Distinguish Fellow of the Society for Marketing Advances. He previously served as VP-Programs for AMS for four years. O.C. Ferrell
Dr. Ferrell is a Professor of Marketing and Creative Enterprise Scholar at the University of New Mexico. In 2005-2006 he was the first Bill Daniels Distinguished Professor of Business Ethics at the University of Wyoming and in charge of a state-wide business ethics initiative. He is also editor of www.e-businessethics.com and has developed a business ethics certificate program through the University of New Mexico's Management Development Center. His academic research focuses on ethical decision making, stakeholder relationships and social responsibility. He is a Society for Marketing Advances Fellow and a member of the Board of Governors for the Academy of Marketing Science. Ferrell is the co-author of 17 books and more than 75 articles. His articles have been published in the Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Sciences, Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, and the Academy of Management Executive as well as other journals. His Marketing: Concepts and Strategy text co-authored with Bill Pride is the most widely adopted principles of marketing text in the world.

Linda Ferrell
Dr. Linda Ferrell is Associate Professor of Marketing and Creative Enterprise Scholar at the University of New Mexico. Her research interests include: legalization of business ethics, corporate ethics programs, and business ethics education. She has published in the Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Teaching Business Ethics, European Journal of Marketing, Case Research Journal as well as others. She is co-author of Business Ethics: Ethical Decision Making and Cases, Business and Society and Business in a Changing World. She is the ethics content expert for the AACSBEthicsEducationResourceCenter (www.aacsb.edu/eerc) and has spoken at a number of AACSB International conferences on teaching business ethics issues as well as co-organizing the 2004/2005 AACSB Teaching Business Ethics Conferences. She has been a consultant to several Colleges of Business assisting in their business ethics initiatives.

Goran Svensson
Göran Svensson is Professor at Oslo School of Management, Norway. He is also Professor at Halmstad University, Sweden and Honorary Professor at Deakin University, Australia. He is regular Guest Professor at NationalChungHsingUniversity in Tai Chung, Taiwan. He holds a Ph. D. at the School of Economics and Commercial Law, Göteborg University, Sweden. Furthermore, he is a committed member of the international research community as journal editor, numerous editorial boards and scholarly/research networks. Vicky Crittenden
Vicky received her DBA from the Graduate School of Business at HarvardUniversity in 1989, where she was the recipient of the American Association of University Women Educational Foundation Dissertation Fellowship and the Stephen X. Doyle Doctoral Fellowship. She currently serves as Chairperson, MBA Core Faculty, in the Carroll School of Management at BostonCollege. Vicky has published her research in journals such as the Sloan Management Review, Business Horizons, Psychology & Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Strategic Marketing, and Journal of Managerial Issues. Vicky’s educational scholarship has been recognized externally by her receipt of the 2005 Outstanding Marketing Teacher Award given annually by the Academy of Marketing Science and by the acceptance, publication, and awards for her pedagogical scholarship at numerous conferences and in the Journal of Marketing Education, Marketing Education Review, Journal for Advancement of Marketing Education, and Journal of Teaching in International Business. Vicky served the Academy of Marketing Science as Vice-President for Membership-N. America and Secretary/Treasurer. Additionally, she served as North American Program Chair for the 2009 World Marketing Congress in Oslo, Norway, the 2003 Congress in Perth, Australia, and Program Co-Chair of the 1999 AMS annual conference in Coral Gables, Florida.

Anne Balazs
Anne Balazs is Division Head and Associate Professor of Marketing in the Division of Business and Communication at Mississippi University for Women. Her research in the areas of Internet and retail strategy, sales force management, health care marketing, and elderly consumer behavior has appeared in the Journal of International Marketing, Journal of Consumer Affairs, Psychology & Marketing, and the Journal of Business Research. Her work has been funded by the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Richard D. Irwin Publishing Company. Anne is an active member of the Academy of Marketing Science and served as co-chair of the 2001 Annual Conference. She is chair of the AMA’s Marketing Communications Special Interest Group and Coordinator of its Best Paper Award, and a board member of the Association for Health Care Research and the International Society for Quality of Life Studies. Her professional service activities include work with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), the Association for Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), and reviewing for the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Macromarketing, Marketing Health Services and other publications.

Joseph F. Hair
Joseph F. Hair is professor of sales and marketing at Kennesaw State University. He is former department chair in marketing at LSU where he also directed the Center for Family Business Studies and held the Copeland Distinguished Professorship. Joe has published many, many journal articles and many textbooks including Marketing (Thomson) and Multivariate Data Analysis (Prentice Hall). Joe has served the AMS in numerous capacities including Program Chair and President.

JAY D. LINDQUIST
Jay D. Lindquist is a consumer behaviorist and Professor Emeritus of Marketing at WesternMichiganUniversity. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the Academy and was the inaugural winner of the AMS Harold W. Berkman Award for distinguished long-time service to the Academy (May 2005). He has served the Academy as President, Chair of the Board of Governors, Vice President for Programs. His work has appeared in such publications as the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Retailing, Journal of Consumer Marketing, Journal of Managerial Psychology, International Business Review, Journal of Health Care Marketing, and Time & Society. He is co-author of the text: Shopper, Buyer, and Consumer Behavior: Theory, Marketing Applications, and Public Policy, 3e (Web and print versions). His primary responsibility for the AMS is the organization and management of the World Marketing Congresses that are held every other year at locations around the globe.
